Especially for Gramps & Grandma!
I took this video on February 5th but have had a hard time uploading it but today I got it!
Needles...Ouch!
Tears were flowing this morning from Ezekiel, his Mum and his Nan-Nan!
I had to take him to get his 8 week immunisation needles this morning, something I wasnt at all looking forward to. Firstly, because I am petrified of needles and knew it was gonna hurt little Ezekiel and secondly, because I didnt want him to scream his head off.
I took my mum with me cause Jeremy was at work and I needed some moral support!
Ezekiel had 2 needles in the right leg and 1 in the left leg.
The first needle was for immunisation against Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis/Polio
The second needle was for immunisation against Hepatitis B (a booster shot)
The third needle was for immunisation against Pneumococcal
When we walked into the place all you could hear was screaming babies! When our number was called and I had to sit Ezekiel on my knee and hold his little leg really firm and that's when the tears started to fill my eyes as I looked at his little face!
I had tears in my eyes cause I knew the scream that was about to come and my mum had tears in her eyes cause I had tears in mine! he he...
Surely enough Ezekiel let out a mighty scream that kept getting louder and louder as each needle went into his leg...we had to wait 15 minutes after the injections just to make sure everything was ok.
He's been a little grumpy today but has been sleeping a lot like they said he would after having them!
I think his father can take him to get the next lot of needles in April! :D

Smart!
Hey, just a quick update.
Ezekiel continues to grow at a rapid rate! He's talking a whole heap and smiling a lot. He's neck is much stronger now and he's extremely alert and will respond to familiar voices really well. He's starting to grab on to objects and put them in his mouth. He loves tummy time on the floor and holds his head up great!
The past couple of days he's been drooling like crazy...he soaks his bibs and everyone's shoulder with his lovely saliva! The nurse today said that usually around 12 weeks babies start to produce more saliva and they dont know what to do with it yet so they spit it out!
I took him to get weighed today and he's now 11lb 14oz which is average for his age and his 60cm long which is above average on the charts....and he's a smart little cookie. He's doing everyting a 3 month old would do so he's 4 weeks advanced which the nurse, Marie, was very happy about.
Marie calls him 'her little giant!' She writes up some brief notes on her computer under his records and today she added in there "An extremely gorgeous baby!" he he...she loves him!
Post more pictures soon.

Check out my t-shirt!
Last week we bought a rocker for Ezekiel. He likes being on the floor but for only a short time because he enjoys sitting up and looking around at everything so much more. We had had enough of him sitting on our knee while we were eating tea but now he likes to be in his rocker so he can look around everywhere!
Oh, and don't you just love the t-shirt!? Someone from church bought it for Ezekiel and he loves wearing it! Jer wants to put it on him everyday! ha ha...
Hope you are all well. xoxo
